This Unreal 5.3 Gameplay Ability System video is about Creating Weapon Attributes, Gameplay Effects and Gameplay Abilities to support Weapon Ammo and Reloading. We start by adding the new Attributes to TDSWeaponSet, and the Reload functionality to TDSCharacter. We then build a Weapon Fire Cost Gameplay Effect, which is added to the Weapon Fire Gameplay Ability. We also add some Enhanced Input Support, and lastly, create the Reload Gameplay Ability. This Ability gathers some of the new WeaponSet Attributes, applies some not so fancy math and sets the values back into the Attributes. Lastly we fix an oversight in the Weapon Fire Gameplay Ability, and the blooper reel shows what was missed earlier in the video.
