Community Tutorial: 21 - When Enemies Attack - Let's Make a Top Down Top Down Shooter

This Unreal 5.3 Gameplay Ability System video is about letting the Enemy fight back.

We start by showing how the built in Move To radius works, and then building a task so that a custom value can be used (like for ranged vs melee attacks). Next, we create the Attack Task, which is just calling Try Activate Ability By Class, and then we repurpose the Pea Shooter Weapon and Projectile into an Enemy Attack. Then we go over how some timing and a Destroy Actor call can cause problems with Unreal, and show one way to resolve it. Lastly, a Cooldown Gameplay Effect (with tag) is created, and the Enemy Attacks without remorse.
