Summary
Fortnite props that are supported with foliage mode do not work with HLODs
Steps to Reproduce
Open Foliage Mode
Use a Fortnite supported foliage asset
Paint landscape with the assets
Build HLODs
Launch Session
The foliage you placed will only appear when near it based on draw distance world settings, it wont become a HLOD if you exceed that distance, like other props do or custom prop foliage do.
Expected Result
The assets should always be visible, no matter how far the player is
Observed Result
The assets do not work with HLODs, therefore turning invisible entirely when the player is too far

If you play the map code, you’ll clearly see none of the foliage loads beyond a certain distance.
