Summary
in UEFN, i have a bug i need to fix with the trigger. it is supposed to be triggered by an objective device being destroyed, then on triggered, increment value on a tracker to show the amount of objectives destroyed. For example, 0/4 destroyed.
Triggers Will not trigger. This is Greatly hindering my progress on my game mechanics. Please FIX. Trigger is set to trigger an obejctive device, and on triggered is linked to a tracker set to events.
The tracker shows 0/4 objectives complete when the objectives are being complete.
Steps to Reproduce
- Place trigger
- Events: Trigger > Objective Device > on destroyed
- TRACKER: On Triggered, Increment Progress.
It worked before, it works in another Project. This project is not working and the settings are identical.
Expected Result
I expect the Objective Device to TRIGGER a Trigger on Destroyed Event.
The trigger was even tested on a interactable button. STILL Not Working.
Observed Result
TRIGGERS Should work. They Do Not.
The Tracker is not receiving any events from the trigger.

I’m encountering a bug in Fortnite Creative related to the trigger functionality. It’s designed to activate when an objective device is destroyed and then increment the value on a tracker to display the number of objectives destroyed, for example, 0/4 destroyed.
Unfortunately, the triggers are failing to activate, which is causing significant obstacles in advancing my game mechanics. I’ve ensured that the trigger is properly set to activate the objective device, and the “on triggered” action is linked to a tracker set to events. However, even when objectives are completed, the tracker continues to show 0/4 objectives complete.
