Summary
While creating a zone wars map, I ran into this very strange bug- three different kinds of fish (flopper, slurpfish, and vendetta flopper) were being allotted to the same inventory slot when picked up through a vending machine. I know Epic developers are very busy with the new season in Fortnite, and that this issue isn’t essential to the gameplay, but it may explain why almost all zone war maps (or any maps) don’t provide vended fish; its being that certain players could have a severe advantage!
Steps to Reproduce
For the sake of efficiency, I will include a screen recording in the following post.
- Simply create a blank map with three vending machines (screen model) in UEFN.
- Customize each one as follows:
V1. 4 floppers
V2. 3 slurpfish
V3. 2 vendetta floppers - Once in the session, interact with the vending machines and fill you inventory (in any order) with a variety of fish.
- Once all five spots are filled, you’ll notice that fish are still being stored in your inventory EVEN THOUGH ITS FULL.
- To confirm, open your inventory (tab) and begin dropping (X) fish. Stack upon stack with be layered in the same slot.
Expected Result
The fish drop on the floor as your inventory is filled.
Observed Result
Fish continue piling in your inventory, even though it is full
