I prefer to be upfront. It seems that many people in the Unreal Engine 4/5 communities, soon to be Unreal Engine 6, are seeking help online to gain knowledge about this stuff. Some think college is a waste of time and that people get sucked into it. The job market is tough here in the USA, and it’s challenging for people like me to find work. It’s difficult to find a supportive community on Reddit where people are building something meaningful. Many seem to prioritize money over knowledge, and it’s disheartening. I’m shedding light on this issue that seems to go over some people’s heads. My personal belief is that I dislike working in jobs that aren’t the right fit for me. I have a Welder AWS certification and also a Combo Welder certification. I’ve been passionate about game creation for many years and wanted to get into it before I die. If others want to act recklessly online, that’s their choice. It often takes time to provide helpful answers to some people,in this community and many individuals are striving to improve themselves in game development. Can we please get a real unreal engine discord that actually have helpful people inside of it.
