Unreal Editor for Fortnite
What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
Publishing
Summary
Every time I add my trailer to my map I receive an immediate (obviously automated) error that states “Something went wrong during publishing. Please try again by creating a new release. If you encounter further problems, please generate a new private version.” Chickens and Raptors Private Map Code: 8146-5695-6328 / Public Map Code: 3547-1610-9842. I did as the message said, and it made no difference.
As if that’s not weird enough, the map publishes fine without the trailer, and when I receive the error for the version WITH the trailer, I also receive an email stating the map has been approved, but when I check it the trailer does not show, as it is still showing the previously approved non-trailer version.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a map
- Add a trailer when publishing
- Publish the map
An email will almost immediately arrive stating the map has been approved, but when I check in the portal it shows an error and the version I was trying to publish did not get published.
If I remove the trailer and republish it publishes every time
Expected Result
The expected result is to be able to add the trailer and have the map publish correctly
Observed Result
I almost immediately receive an error in the portal stating, "“Something went wrong during publishing. Please try again by creating a new release. If you encounter further problems, please generate a new private version.”.
I have followed the instructions provided and I continue to receive the same result.
