Summary
I’ve tried using the creature_spawner_device and the creature_placer_device coupled with prop collision settings and a barrier_device and nothing I do will prevent creatures from just walking through these erected barriers. I need to contain the spawned creatures in a barrier_device ideally, but they seem to be on the ignored list by default? At least they behave like they are.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a barrier device as a hollow box (with any settings available) and enable it
- Spawn a creature inside
- Put player outside the box
- Creature leaves box to attack player
Expected Result
The barrier_device (or any prop that has collision enabled or damage disallowed) should not be passable by spawned creatures and should not be able to be damaged by creatures. If you add a player to the ignored list, the player should be able to walk freely in and out, while the creatures cannot.
Observed Result
I’ve tried every permutation of settings and cannot prevent creatures from escaping the barrier_device.
