Summary
Hello! I know Epic is probably aware of these bugs, but for the Creator Community I wanted to cover all bases in reporting and reiterating what many Creators on UEFN Discord Channel are experiencing.
Fortnite Client intermittently crashes immediately after the Publishing Project completes when uploading to a Private Version. Unable to then launch a memory calculation or complete the publishing process, as the steps for memory calculation are not possible. (Perennial persistent for the last 2 days) I think this is due to ALT + TAB though! Fingers Crossed.
Trackers: Show a green check mark when starting the game rather than the target value and completion stats on HUD. Bugged Event Bindings: Broken, Can not “assign to all” and “When Complete” UserOptions - Function. All Trackers are not functioning.
Sequence Devices: Not showing most layers in level sequence, but still playing. (E.g. fade track is the only thing that plays). Intermittent Bug sometimes they work and other times they do not.
Triggers reacting strangely to other Bugged Devices
Class Selectors: (Might be fixed after 28.30 release / update) but VFX that grey mesh effect sliding Vertically from the bottom of the screen.
Player Marker Device: Stuck on player at game start
VFX creator: Assign to player Event Binding and Remove from player Event binding not functioning at all.
Steps to Reproduce
- Place these devices, and bind events to them, and they do not function correctly.
- Trackers are assigned to track events, 4 times, linked to a timer on success, then on success, the tracker does not show on hud 1/4 complete, it shows a green checkmark.
- Place cinematic sequence device, play for everybody, the animation plays the fade track fading black on the screen where the rest of the animation does not show for the players.
- Assigned Triggers and Evaluator triggers were bugged but work now for my game. This is what was occuring…
Evaluator Evaluate Player > On Entering> Mutator Zone…
Evaluator Activating Team > Team 2
On Pass > Teleport Player…
Nothing happens.
Then the Evaluator SFX go off late late like 30 seconds later, Player Dies.
Player Becomes Two Teams at once.
Player spawns on Team 1 pad, and glitches to team 2 pad, then becomes both players as two teams Objective pulses are coming out of my character with both team colors! LOL This is the silliest bug
Player Marker Device: Stuck on player at game start when assigned to player on triggering a trigger later in the game, and enabled when triggered, not enabled on game start.
Expected Result
Epic Games is working hard on these bugs already. No pressure Rest Assured!
Observed Result
Those bugs are just bug-ing it up.
