Accidently deleted huge folder right before autosave, now I cannot even undo and lost hours worth of content

Accidently deleted huge folder right before autosave, now I cannot even undo and lost hours worth of content
Expected Result
How am I not able to press undo after the autosave? I didnt even know I deleted the huge folder until after the autosave. turning off autosave indefinitely now.
