Hi all,
Is there any way we can get an update to to the bug reporting workflow sometime soon? When I put in a bug, I get an email that says:
“Thank you for your bug submission. We will review your case and will follow up if more information is needed or a ticket is created. In the event the issue you reported is scheduled for a future release or has known workarounds, you may not receive a follow-up message from our team.”
Putting in a bug seemingly does NOT automatically create an ticket/issue that can be tracked in the user that put in the bug? Why is this? As far as I understand right now, I manually have to check the issues.unrealengine.com
link manually every so often just to see if my bug was actually a bug and what the resolution was. AND the bug’s title/description can change from what the user put in themselves. How is the user supposed to follow along with this workflow?
This would be a much better user experience if these bugs immediately generated a link for the user where they could see the current status of the bug report and a thread of correspondence with the Epic team if necessary.
