Asynchronous reprojection has existed for years but it’s only ever been used for VR and only started gaining popularity for normal use about a year ago thanks to Comrade Stinger’s demo and the reports that came following the next weeks. As far as I know, no games have implemented it yet, let alone engines.
Though I haven’t played around with the VR aspect of UE, judging from a few posts in here it looks like there is support, it’s just exclusive to VR.
The benefits of implementing it are clear and it has the potential to make a huge difference for those who don’t have top of the line hardware.
