This presentation focuses on the use of AR developed by the Virtual Graphics department at WWE and its implementation during live broadcasts powered by Unreal Engine. In the past eighteen months, the department has developed over one hundred AR elements, most of which will be shown during this session. We hope to demonstrate our success with AR graphics rendered and operated live on air.
The presentation will start with an explanation of the conceptual approach the team takes when developing AR elements and then move into the more practical aspects of our production. This includes a breakdown of our traveling set-up that includes up to five tracked cameras and IR beacons.
